Transmission makes loud howling noise. Changed fluid,did not help.  At the same visit to repair shop found that right rear bearing is shot. Replaced right rear wheel bearing.

It turned out that the "howling noise" never was in the transmission,but rather from the AC compressor. A rebuilt compressor was installed, but while I had plenty of cold air the noise while at a lower level is still there. Replaced left rear wheel bearing. Solved the issue. Noisy and loose wheel.
