Replace rusted fuel lines. Fuel filler pipe rusted, replaced everything from the filler cap to the tank. Gas would leak on the ground when fueling at the gas station. Living in the rust belt the tin worm has taken its toll, being a Denali with all the cladding has helped, I replaced the left cargo door several years ago, but that's it for the body. The tin worm has eaten away at the underside. Brake lines, fuel lines and trans. cooler line have been repaired or replaced, brake lines several time (thanks GM bean counters for not using stainless steel) always a fun time when the brake pedal goes to the floor.

To address a hard 1-2 shift, I replaced the fuel filter, air filter, changed the transmission fluid and filter, and dropped the 1-2 accumulator and changed the big spring which was worn. Not entirely successful as didn't replace accumulator.

Had persistent Passlock problems that kept getting worse, could not start vehicle after 5 hours of trying. Bought HPtuners software to disable Passlock in the computer firmware. Along with previous Passlock problems, power steering assist worked intermittently (resulting in full PS pressure). Traced the Passlock and EVO problems to a bad EVO/Passlock module, replaced, power steering assist works well now.

A leaky rear wheel cylinder locked up and caused severe drag on the drum, replaced both wheel cyls, drums, shoes and all springs. When disassembled, shoes separated from the brackets because of leaking fluid.

Water pump leaked from the weep hole, replaced with new, also replaced upper radiator hose due to excessive caked-up deposits, both small hoses at the pump, and thermostat. Plan to also replace the coolant temp. sensor soon.
