Needs 2nd throttle body but car is 1 month beyond its 10th birthday so the cost would fall on me. Class action law suit where the OEM Throttle Body's have been found to be faulty - Volvo will replace at no cost, as many as needed till she's 10. Sunroof tracks/guides came loose and rattled in opening and left glass panel loose in opening. Dealer removed loose parts as the "cheap fix" that works...1st time my Volvo dealer has done anything that fixes a problem AND saves me money...Yee Haw. Alarm sensor overhead in map light area. I had been told I had "Alarm codes" showing for quite some time and had fixed other items that I KNEW were bad so this problem had been noted before by the dealer but they had never said this part HERE is bad. One or both turbos is/are leaking oil so I'll fix it myself or let a local shop do it for $25...they changed all 4 O2 sensors for $75 so the 4 turbo oil drain tube gaskets should be about $25...I supply parts of course and they're all of $16 total.
Nov 2009

145000 mi

US $16
Turbo oil drain tube gaskets replaced on one of 2 turbos. The 2nd turbo oil drain tube not leaking thankfully as it's much harder to change. Replaced lower front and bushing kit to upper motor mounts...and broke the eng/trans torque bushing when I blindly slid the floor jack under the car to raise it to get my jack stands out to end the procedure (or so I thought)...see next repair.
Dec 2009

144000 mi

US $70
Replaced broken trans torque bushing $65 for part plus shipping ~$70 total because I wasn't looking where I was jacking. The 2x4 in the top of my jack to 'pad' the cars frame obstructed my view and RUSHING I ended up lifting by the end of the bushing
