Ventilation was not shifting from defrost to vent to floor. "repair" involved disassmebly and reconnecting all of the control wires. Venting now working correctly. Also problem with speakers on drivers door corrected and now working.

Due to damage by debris on motorway a/c radiator was damaged which caused leak and ultimately the a/c pump seizing. Car needed to be driven for 7 hours in order to get home (from France to UK) with pulley noisy. Oil leak from turbo return pipe, minimal problem.
