Primary reason for repair was noted loud clunking noises in front suspension and tendency to wander down the road. Determined to probably be a failed control arm bushing. Elected to also replace springs (factory springs had sagged, replaced with aftermarket lift springs), shocks (last replacement shocks had worn, replaced with new shocks) and spring isolators (had collapsed due to age). |

Power steering pulley had cracked - previous owner's shop had reused it when it was a one-time use pulley. Old pulley would not separate cleanly from shaft, so this necessitated replacing the power steering pump. The old pressure line would not separate cleanly from the pump, so this line was also replaced. Power steering box was leaking from the pitman shaft seal. Replaced seal. |

Replaced tie-rod ends myself with parts from Auto-Zone. Cost was under $30 (adding the cost of propane to heat the rusted bolts to loosen them). |
