A/C blowing hot air (sometimes) but more yes than no. Compressor, evaporator, and condenser were all working well. After a closer look, they found a plug connected to the compressor had popped out and kept popping out. They tightened the connection, cleaner another part that was gunky and sent me on my way with NO CHARGE...but as usual I did nicely tip the mechanic. They had the car about an hour and a half. A/C cold as ever since! There are honest mechanics, in fact this is a franchise called Honest 1 Mechanic in Davie FL. I go no where else with my car.

Brakes were sliding in reverse when I ent easy on them like backing out of a parking spot and car wouldn't stop. Had to throw trans into drive to stop it an move forward. Took it to my mechanic and he told me it was the ABS Control Module and it was a very very expensive part that I should think twice about replacing and maybe get rid of the car. I asked about getting a used one and he said there is no guarantee the used one would work but if I wanted to take a shot he would put it in. I did. And for $61 which included shipping a bought a used one and received it in 2 days. Mechanic put it in and at the same time thought it a good idea to change the master cylinder and flush the system. The results are that the car brakes better than it was new! Labor to take out the old one and put in the used one (lucky there was no programming problem) was a couple of 100 and so was the master so with all it came to $430. I was lucky to find a reputable used parts dealer that I would be more than happy to share with the community. A & B Auto LLC someplace in Louisiana, found them on eBay as abmotorsla.
