The window regulator was shot, as indicated by "crunchy sounds" when operating the power window. rnThe regulator for the Audi includes the entire window frame, mechanism, stainless-steel cables, and plastic pulleys. rnThe parts are pricey (CAD$341 from Audi -- there are no cheap Chinese knock-offs) but labour is very low, because its all one, pre-assembled unit. rnKelly and team at Sun Creek did it for around $400 plus tax. rnAt an Audi dealership it would have been double that price.

Deciding to preventatively change the pump although it appeared to work fine. New fuel pump is around 50%. I believe the pump had premature wear due to the fuel filter never being changed.

Need to dismantle intake assembly to check problem repair-ability, which at the least requires $100 in gaskets, even if nothing is done. Valve cover gaskets are leaking oil again. The leak is bad enough to fill the spark plug wells causing misfires.
