Forward sprag clutch failed leaving require full trans rebuild. Shifter cable also replaced. Also small upgrades added (vette servo, pinless accumulators, hd sunshell etc.). Base rebuild costs was $2500+tx. Uncommon failure for mileage.

Intermittent noise and feeling, best described as a "Thunk" when at idle after driving (like at red lights) Transmission hard-shifting intermittently. Not smooth at all. Not occuring in conjunction with idle issue. 
34000 mi Return trip to address previously unresolved problem. Drive shaft removed, checked, lubed, and refitted. Fault no longer apparent. Return trip to address unresolved issue. Symptoms disappeared when another drivetrain issue was resolved. 
59000 mi Transmission selector grommet failed, rendering vehicle stuck in reverse. Fortunately it happened at home. Online forum provide answers, so was able to use materials at hand to fashion repair, and fit it.
