One of the rear calipers broke down. Brake fluid leaked out, leaving the car with about 1/4th of its original braking power. Caliper replaced, fluid flushed and refilled.
"Brake" indicator would flash intermittently while driving. Fluid level correct, but condition was notably poor. Flushed lines with new DOT4 fluid corrected the problem.
