Dealer charged $120 to confirm what I knew - the manifold was kaput. They wanted another $1,390 (before tax) and warranty was 12 months. Monro price was $ 994 (with tax) and the unit has a 5 year warranty. A car with this low mileage should not have this kind of problem. This car is babied, not abused. The GM rep kept emphasizing the age of the vehicle and repeatedly told me because it was SO OLD they couldn’t provide any cost contribution. Car is riding quiet and clean, no thanks to GM. |
