2009 Lincoln MKS 4dr Sedan

273-horsepower 3.7L V6 6-speed shiftable automatic FWD

7600 mi Transmission line needs to be replaced. Tranmission whines between 4th and 5th, and 5th and 6th gears. Parts on order. Sun roof shade needs to be replaced because of rattling. Part on order. Subwoofer reinstalled because of rattling. Repaired.

Transmission noise around 35 mph. They replaced a transmission cooling line but this didn’t fix the problem. I am waiting to hear from other people on the MKS Forum. People have the same problem and have not got a fix yet. 
1000 mi Shifter seems sticky, but only in manual mode. Will see if it gets worse before dealer replaces shifter (check again at service intervals).

Needed over a quart of transmission fluid. I know fluids shouldn't be reported, but transmissions should never get low on fluid unless there's a leak or something. Problem is currently undiagnosed.

1000 mi PTO unit came with cross threaded plug hole so plug could only go in 1/4 turn. Leaked oil out onto exhaust pipe.
