They finally agreed to let dealer change out fuel pump's control module. They then wanted me to buy a new battery which I refused as battery was only about a year old that had replaced a 2 year old battery. I was able to exchange battery under warranty and so far am not hearing fuel pump running when drove home. I am not convinced repair is successful as dealer emphasized temporary and could not guarantee. I am driving my other car and have listed this one for sale. VAG has no idea when an "official" fix will be available. | ||
