He said they are repairing at least one timing chain a week because they "stretch out" and then fail. When they fail you have to replace the entire engine. Parts and labor quoted by several shops 10k-12k depending on if purchase a used or new engine. We are going to walk away from the car. It was a pleasure to drive, beautiful, and we absolutely loved it. But we have a hard time with a company and/or product that has major defects and consumers are not told about it or have to pay for major design flaws. The car was a ticking time bomb. | ||
