Known problem with LLT engine in V6 Camaros, timing chain stretch.
Got a Check Engine Light while driving and was diagnosed as stretched timing chain requiring replacement. Car is driven lightly and only has 60000 miles on it. Oil serviced every 5000 miles with Mobil1 full synthetic oil and Mobil1 premium oil filters.
Engine light on. On Star diagnosed engine misfire. Chevy Dealership diagnosed computer system needed to be calibrated and serviced the fuel injection system.
Service order says: Tech scanned found code P2099 for post catalyst fuel trim high limit bank 2. Tech tested fuel system, tested fuel, and injectors with GDS2 and found exhaust leak at left side engine manifold to converter. Gasket replaced.
