US $300
Vehicle began to show a "wrench light" icon on dash and then go into a "limp mode" where power is significantly restricted to the point where the vehicle will only slightly move. After research and contact with the dealership, most likely culprit is a defective throttle body. This is a known problem and Ford has begun to warranty these throttle bodys up to 10 yrs/150,000 miles. Vehicle is being towed to dealership to have the throttle body replaced on 7/20/2018. Check engine light and message board were indicating a "Gross leak" in the fuel vapor recovery system. Dealer advised as well as research on the internet indicated that a defective fuel filler neck is most likely culprit, we replaced original filler neck with new, aftermarket piece (which did not fit as well as original). Did not resolve check engine light issue.
