Right side sway bar end link joint developed play and was lightly clunking when suspension travel loaded and unloaded the joint. OEM part is prone to this premature wear, supposedly uses nylon in the socket joint that wears, and no lubrication is possible on this sealed joint. Bought a Moog replacement part which is all metal and has provisions for grease fittings to lube for maintenance. $25 replacement part is easy to install. If the left side goes, will do the same, and don't expect to need to do it ever again. |
