car started to yaw, as if it was being pushed by a trailer. Front shocks worn replaced. helped briefly. Rear shocks replaced, tie rods replace, connect arms replaced. Rear axles CV failed and replaced. Problem still exists. all bushings with any sign of wear replaced. Front shocks were OEM rears not. considering OEM replacement for rears.

Replaced both front struts as they were leaking 
40300 mi Complete power steering failure. When starting up the car the steering wheel vibrates left and right, the warning RED light comes on. per manual brought it to dealer(after 5 days no solution) Definite electromechanical problem with rack. 
28000 mi Noticed a clunk sound when driving over road bumps at any speed. Lasted for a week. Suddenly stopped when going over another road imperfection. Possibly control arm seated improperly. Dealer could not replicate. Hasn't reappeared in 16k mi.

Replaced front suspension rear control arm bushings. 
16000 mi Had noise coming from the front end of the car. Dealer determined the front sway bar, needed to be replaced. Ordered new bar, installed, problem fixed. This was handled under warranty. The noise from the previous repair still occurs. The dealer replaced the anti roll link, strut mounts, and bearings. The noise still occurs, dealer stated noise is inherent to the Tiguan. Now have a case opended with VWOA. Had noise coming from front end of the car, turned out to be the front sway bar. Dealer ordered new sway bar, problem fixed. This was fixed under warranty. 
18700 mi Grinding noise on right side of car, only audible at 50 mph+. Something was loose in rear right tire. Part replaced and all is fine.
