| 50840 mi | Front left brake making grinding noise all the time. Used a screwdriver and small crowbar to press the dust shield back away from the rotor. Still makes a bit of noise but only when I turn right now. |

Believe rust buildup is seizing caliper, and maybe rubbing as rotor spins. pushed dust shield on backside of rotor away from rotor and seems to have helped, but not solved the noise. |

As previously mentioned in another repair, dealer diagnosed noise as a seized front left caliper, and rust buildup on said caliper rubbing on the dust shield and rotor. Dealer serviced the front brakes (and performed a recall). |
