Worn struts. Estimate $1700. Chose not to repair due to age and mileage of car. |
1000 mi | At a little under 900 miles, being bounced all over the interstate, I discovered that my tires were all over inflated (40+psi each). Reducing air pressure improved ride but still felt like a tire was imbalanced. Actually it was two. July 15 |
1200 mi | Second time for a balance. Last time two tires OOB. This time all four including one so bad on rt front it had to be remounted. Lame excuses. Original repair and over inflation reason not in Toyota owners website-Suspicious-Still not right!! After two tires replaced took it to another Toyota dealership who exchanged air in all 4 tires with nitrogen (N2). This did remove a part of the problem but potholes and manholes sends shocks thru seat into my spine. DO NOT BUY A PRIUS C!!!! |
