Turbo intercooler broke, lost all turbo power to the engine. Dealership said it was my fault and there was "a crack" but there was nothing. Tried jipping me for 1500 turned it down.

turbocharged 140hp 2.0L I4 Diesel 6-speed manual FWD

9250 mi I am recording from the original work invoices that was provided with the car. I guess the car became slow above 2000 RPMS. The dealer investigated and replaced the turbo. This fixed the issue. Also the washer fluid sensor was replaced.

170-horsepower 2.5L I5 6-speed shiftable automatic FWD

27020 mi Had a major problem with the turbo charger. It had to be totally replaced, but fortunately was within the warranty period. Apparently this is a known problem, which some people think they can avoid by changing the oil more often. We only use the high performance oil recommended by VW.
