271-horsepower 3.2L V6 9-speed shiftable automatic AWD w/low range

14000 mi Transmission was reflashed with updated software to fix a number of shifting issues.
17906 mi PTU failed. Vehicle towed to dealer and part replaced. PTU/transfer case failed while driving. Vehicle was towed to dealership and part was replaced.
22630 mi Heard whistling coming from under the vehicle. Dealer determined it was the rear differential and replaced it, whistling stopped.
34675 mi Heard same whistling that was fixed by previous rear differential replacement. This time dealer determined it was the drive shaft. Dealer replaced the drive shaft, but vehicle is still making a whistling/bearing noise from under vehicle (loud & echoes off of buildings when driving) Will be taking it back to dealer asap.
10000 mi rear transaxle replacement
7000 mi did a software update
12740 mi Transmission not always shifting smooth. Sometimes lurchs and shifts jerky. Dealer upgraded software.
20000 mi Valve body replaced. A few transmission problems: rough shifts, hesitation, no 3-2 downshift, first to reverse delay. The valve body change did help some, but not the solution. FCA makes the dealer do this before replacement as protocol.
24000 mi transmission replaced
FCA is repuchasing the vehicle
27325 mi Left Rear axle seal was leaking. R&R axle seal.
29000 mi Hydraulic pressure sensor failure. Replace transmission valve body under manufacture warranty.
37800 mi Service transmission light came on. Transmission went into limp mode. TCU and TCU control cable failure. Both were replaced under power train warranty.
Transmission failed and was completely replaced.
28700 mi Scraping noise from right front. Diagnosed as right front center driveshaft. Wheel bearing and driveshaft were ordered. Currently waiting on parts, so it hasn't been repaired yet. Front driveshaft bearings. Reported same problem previous quarter, but was waiting on parts. Parts came in, repaired in one day and now fine. Took it to a different dealer first & they misdiagnosed it as a cv joint.
106000 mi

US $2434

2000 mi Dealer Updated TCU and PCU on Vehicle
101000 mi

12000 mi Flash TCM to latest revision. Really improved shifting and downshifting issues.
44000 mi

US $100
In cold weather, below 10f, the transmission doesn't work, and the remote start shuts down after 10 seconds. The dealer updated the software at a cost of $100 but it did not solve the problem. Same things happen in cold weather.
17400 mi dtm problem 4wd service light on no 4x4
44640 mi

C $456
transmission is slipping after you do a stop. Transmission is slipping when going into reverse
34300 mi Replaced PDU
12500 mi Re Flash transmission.
29140 mi Check Engine Light PCM Replaced Updated Software
37200 mi -Rough shifting -Skipping 2nd gear when slowing down, done to address a design flaw They replaced the Powertrain control module on the first visit, then updated the programming on the next two visits. They ultimately shared it is performing as designed. Not sure I agree with their assessment. Essentially I need a new transmission which they are unwilling to do so need to live with the lurching and jerking until I can replace the vehicle.

271-horsepower 3.2L V6 9-speed shiftable automatic AWD

6280 mi Vibration felt in steering intermittently when accelerating from full stop, more noticeable when turning right (none towards left). Dealer changed right axel, but is not sure if it will resolve the problem!!! Update: reduced vibration about 80 percent.
30500 mi Button on shifter (to push to shift) broke/fell off. Appeared to be glued on, and glue melted. Button simply fell off in my hand.
13020 mi Had the front half-shaft TSB applied (low-speed wobble).
1200 mi Transmission software update for shifting problems.
2300 mi Installed new half shafts for wobble in the front end
7000 mi Replaced entire drive train due to grinding noise while driving

184-horsepower 2.4L I4 9-speed shiftable automatic FWD

32000 mi Central control unit for transmission failed. Replaced under warranty.
5000 mi Gears pop and vehicle jumps out of parking spot.
21600 mi After a software update due to a recall for an incorrectly installed snap ring the transmission lacks a 3-2-1 downshift. So minimal engine braking. Also stays in low gear after passing level acceleration.
44000 mi Transmission shifting poorly
48000 mi Transmission driveability issues never resolved. Minimal engine braking, some hard shifts, sometimes holds a gear far too long. I had to take the vehicle in 3 times for a "shifter error", which was still happening off and on until I traded the vehicle. The shifter error did seem to be just that, a problem with the shifter electronics or shifter connections as it never affected trans operation. It was a real pain though as an error pops up in the DIC and you have to pull over and turn the vehicle on and off to clear or just keep driving with a useless information cluster until that is done.
