2015 Tesla Model S 4dr Hatch

422-horsepower Electric 1-speed automatic AWD

2500 mi Panoramic roof had a rip in rubber in the track rail. Whole rail trim had to be replaced
32000 mi Sunroof was making a popping noise upon opening. This is a known issue and repair. Don't know what parts were involved in the fix.
33000 mi Chrome trim on gear selector broke. Had to remove and replace entire steering column which houses turn signals, cruise control and gear selector. Took several hours, but Tesla sent a mobile technician to my house to do the job. Very convenient! Took long time for latest software update.
11800 mi Popping sounds from headliner. They cleaned out the sunroof seals and reinsulated the headliner. Sunroof opening off-center and sticking. They have ordered a new sunroof assembly and will replace after parts are received.
52000 mi Moon roof seal was leaking
11800 mi Significant sunroof leak in heavy rain. This is a known issue and Tesla replaced the sunroof seal which apparently had 2 gaps. Please note high pressure car washes never created an issue.
26000 mi @nd gen driver seat squeaked when placing excessive pressure on the right side. I'm not sure what Tesla did but it doesn't squeak anymore. I'm guessing they lubed something or applied something to the leather. No cost.
7300 mi Interior rattle, they fixed something, but not the original noise.
13000 mi Interior door panel was loose after previous repair
8000 mi Left rear door trim misaligned. Removed and remounted. Applique on trunk lid not adhering well, removed and replaced. Screw fell out of center armrest, causing armrest to be loose and rattly.
43859 mi

US $200
Liftgate Drain Plug Retrofit.
One front seat was scratched at the back.
4700 mi Seat back replaced due to scratch.
16120 mi sunroof sometimes stuck in closed position and wouldn't open electronically. A little nudge with the finger will get it unstuck. liftgate applique condensation on both reverse lights due to poor sealing. New liftgate applique installed.

2015 Tesla Model S 4dr Hatch

362-horsepower Electric 1-speed automatic RWD

31489 mi Noticed a small amount of water drop from the panoramic roof after high pressure washing (at a coin-operated car wash). This happened twice. Didn't bother to repair it since I don't frequently use high pressure car washes. Tesla accessory "drop-in center console" (a.k.a. "premium center console") storage door was stuck closed. They cleaned and lubricated the door slider. The door opens properly now, but it requires a lot of force to open. Velcro patches fell off of the original equipment floor mats, so they no longer stuck to the retainers and started bunching up. Replaced with newer design floor mats.
48466 mi Occasional small water leak from right front of panoramic roof. Replaced main seal, resealed "front piece", cleaned sunroof drains, lubricated and cleaned moving parts. Panoramic roof sometimes does not open. The roof tilts up but gets stuck and doesn't slide back. You have to close the roof, then open it while pushing up on the glass to force it up enough to start sliding. Replaced seal-stop bumper.
49200 mi After panoramic roof water leak was repaired, I left the car outside in a severe thunderstorm to make sure it was fully dry. There was significant water leakage at the left rear corner of the panoramic roof and C-pillar, and the headliner had several stains indicating previous leakage around this area. There was also water in the liftgate shell, which was dripping out of the liftgate trim panel. Service center found water coming from the rear quarter glass. Replaced rear quarter glass and brightwork, and removed the drain plugs from the liftgate shell. The brightwork and quarter glass had been replaced several times in the past before I bought the car used; it is very likely that it caused by a previous repair.
85040 mi

US $4
The chrome trim ring on the shifter lever broke in half and fell off. I reattached it with super glue.
12400 mi Covers for the roof rack mounting location loose - will flip up and down in the wind and while driving. Loud rattle from center console area, only in cold temperatures. Service center applied lubricant between seat and center console. Noise persists.
39000 mi Panoramic sunroof would not open - misaligned.

7800 mi Loose armrest
13640 mi Squeaks caused by the pano roof, especially annoying in cold weather. Problem partly came back after a few days despite following work: Install additional isolation foam on headliner and anti-pinch strip, Lubricate sunroof sliding glass sea
21480 mi Squeaks caused by the pano roof were entirely fixed after better diagnosing the source of the problem. Tesla went above and beyond to make sure any source of noise was found and fixed.
11000 mi Leaking sunroof Dash rattle Headlights and fog lights fogged. Told "normal"... Leather on B-pillar bubbled. Ordered new piece.
12200 mi Missing door handle seal on right front door--had fallen off into door. Finally solved chronic wind noise issue!
48000 mi wind noise from door handle backing failure panoramic roof open/close issue
