Acura RSX Gas Mileage (MPG)

Unlike other fuel economy surveys, TrueDelta's Real-World Gas Mileage Survey includes questions about how and where a car was driven. So you can get an idea of the Acura RSX's real-world MPG based on how and where you drive a car.

Reported MPG

There were no results for your query. We returned results for all model years and all body styles instead.

The graph does not display if there are fewer than five results.

Acura RSX Fuel Economy: Pros
Year Body/Powertrain Comment
2006 2dr Hatch 201-hp 2.0L I4 6-sp manual FWD Not amazing, but pretty good for the level of performance.
2005 2dr Hatch 160-hp 2.0L I4 5-sp shiftable automatic FWD If I stay below 68mph I can get 350 miles from 10 gallons of gas. 400 from 12 gallons. City driving 26mpg and I drive very fast.
2005 2dr Hatch 160-hp 2.0L I4 5-sp manual FWD Averaging 32 MPG in mixed driving (60% highway, 40% suburbs).
2005 2dr Hatch 201-hp 2.0L I4 6-sp manual FWD 30+ mi/gal with the above performance. Unheard of.
2003 2dr Hatch 160-hp 2.0L I4 5-sp shiftable automatic FWD 33 mpg in summer, 31 mpg in winter
2003 2dr Hatch 201-hp 2.0L I4 6-sp manual FWD With fuel prices rising I am very pleased with how efficient the car is with gas. If I decide to take it easy and not use my lead foot, I can get gas mileage that rivals any non-hybrid car of its size.
2002 2dr Hatch 160-hp 2.0L I4 5-sp manual FWD Average 30 to 33 miles per gallon since new
2002 2dr Hatch 201-hp 2.0L I4 6-sp manual FWD 34 on the highway.
Acura RSX Fuel Economy: Cons
Year Body/Powertrain Comment
2002 2dr Hatch 201-hp 2.0L I4 6-sp manual FWD Around town MPG is unimpressive (around 24) given the extreme lack of torque. The engine is especially gutless below 3000 rpm. I do get 30mpg+ on the highway, though.
