Why the 2005 Acura TL?

Brand reputation & image

An Acura is considered classy in my social network

Exterior styling

It has a modern industrial look.

Interior styling

Attractive and functional with a purposeful look - no wood. The materials are of high quality; no demerits for a cheap appearance.

Price or payments

Price. I shopped Infiniti and Cadillac and found that when optioned to match the Acura TL they were significantly more expensive.

Why Not the 2005 Acura TL?

Driving position & visibility

The A pillars are fairly wide and interfere with my vision on corners in urban driving. Also I find it difficult to see to the rear because of the front and rear headrests.

Ride smoothness

I love the firm handling, but the crunchy ride must be considered a slight minus.

Powertrain performance

As was the case with my previous second-generation Acura TL, the car has a maddening vibration in the power train at 1500 rpm. No problem at freeway cruising speed, but extremely vexing under power-on conditions such as long hills.
