Why the 2005 Acura TL?

Reliability & durability

Car has 70k miles on it - no repairs whatsoever. Only normal maintenance.

Audio & nav systems

DVD Audio player is fantastic, even on CDs.

Fuel economy

For a relatively heavy car, I average 23 mpg in mixed city / highway (about 50 / 50). On all freeway driving, I have achieved 30 mpg.

Price or payments

Very competitively priced for the features. Simple pricing structure - nearly everything is standard.

Interior styling

Modern interior, faux carbon fiber look, very high quality materials.

Why Not the 2005 Acura TL?

Exterior styling

The 2005 TL was clearly modeled after an Alfa Romeo; however, the front grille is relatively generic. The styling is a little more staid rather than expressive. Colors are kind of bland.

Driving position & visibility

Cargo capacity

Trunk is adequate; however, goose neck hinges intrude into the trunk. No fold down rear seats; however, there is a pass through
