Jan 2022 98000 mi	Brake pedal goes soft after activation of the TC or ABS systems and requires a manual cycle of the ABS module (which can only be done by a machine at a repair shop) it's been in the shop four times for this problem. The rear calipers and master cylinder have been replaced trying to fix the problem. The shop now says that a $3,500 part needs to be replaced and that may or may not fix the problem.

Sounds as if the starter motor cranks too long/doesn't disengage in time, or maybe like the sound of a belt being chewed/slipping. Lasts about 1 second immediately after ignition. I've been advised that the car has always done this and Acura says it's normal, I guess I just have to live with it. Some Accord owners with the same 3.7L motor have experienced the same noise, and not had any failure (with some having upwards of 160,000 miles/ 257,000km)

The repair shop mentioned that it the EPS system is unable to figure out how fast the car is going. Normally the steering system will get heavier when on highway, but with this code it will remain light as if in a parking lot. Took to the dealer to investigate. The dealer did a "complicated" reset, which included 1 hour of labor. The problem is now gone, but I'm still a little skeptical about whether or not the problem will come back.

I won the argument and the 100 mo. warranted battery was replaced at no charge. So a battery and starter have been replaced, but the car wouldn't start again after another 5-day business trip. It sits in my garage. FINAL diagnosis: The culprit turned out to be the Hands-Free Link (HFL) which wasn't turning off. I removed it. Problem solved.
