Right axle seal leak |
146287 mi US $3000 |
The car's transmission began to slip, I checked the fluid and ended up adding 2 quarts, three weeks later the same thing. When the car was parked no fluid could not be seen leaking. After driving the car, you could smell the fluid burning. I took the car in and the high-pressure line of the transmission had developed a pin hole leak, so as the pressure in the transmission increased the car's speed the fluid poured out of the car. My Mechanic had the hole in the line welded closed and the problem has gone away. The High pressure line to the transmission developed a pin hole leak, so the transmission would only leak when the car's transmutation was engaged. to correct it my Mechanic welded the holes closed and it seems to be holding up. |
