Applied pressure with weights to maintain window/fabric contact for 24 hours to set up. No More leaking. Had to pull up carpets and squeezed at least 2 gallons of water out of foam under floors, and kept in the sunlight every day for a week or so to dry it all out. Convertible top failed. Previous repair included resetting brushes on electric motor attached to hydraulic pump, but that did not work this time. Bought a new electric top pump motor from Audi dealership and self-installed. Worked immediately. Took about 3 hours total to remove all trim to get at motor, take out motor, replace, and put trim back in place. |
