4dr Sedan 340-horsepower 4.2L V8 6-speed manual AWD

Why the 2005 Audi S4?

Powertrain performance

Awesome performance with the V8 in the S4.

Handling

All wheel drive and lowered suspension contribute to excellent handling characteristics.

Front seat support & comfort

These are the most comfortable and supportive seats I have ever sat in and this includes luxury cars like the Lincoln Town Car. The extendable thigh support is a bonus.

Driving position & visibility

All controls are right at hand. Wheel and seat are easily adjustable. Good visibility also.

Materials & workmanship

Good quality is apparent. The engine is the focus, but the whole car looks worth the money compared with some Japanese imports like the WRX.

Why Not the 2005 Audi S4?

Price or payments

It is a very expensive car, though in the right area for that level of combined luxury and performance. Other, perfectly adequate vehicles are available for much less.

Depreciation

As an expensive, high-performance car, the depreciation is greater than with some more mainstream vehicles. Also, higher cost vehicles lose more dollar value for the same percentage compared with lower priced vehicles.

Fuel economy

The great engine encourages the use of its power, which affects economy. All wheel drive does not help.
