Why the 2009 BMW 7-Series?

Reliability & durability

Traded Aug 2020 for 2018 750xi M Sport. Last miles on the 2009 required a LOT of maintenance, Alternator cost 2200.

Why Not the 2009 BMW 7-Series?

Conclusion

This car was purchased used with 58k on the clock and 3 months remaining on 6-yr ext warranty. Had to repair driver's adaptive headlight that was pointing high. Rims also had some slight imperfections that caused a steering wheel vibration at 80mph. Dealer had the rims trued and car is now perfect at any high speed. Gas mileage in town is fair (12-13), but about 22 on highway at 75mph. This is a cruiser that will achieve high speed quickly and maintain it without effort. Very comfortable car also. This particular used car is still in outstanding exterior and interior condition, so I still feel like I'm driving a new car. MSRP on this car was 99k, but I bought it for 29k, and so far, it's been worth every penny. I'm not foolish enough to think it won't require maintenance, but hopefully it won't outweigh the pleasure I get from driving it. Mileage now: 65k. Have had ZERO problems in 10 months & 7k miles, after the initial minor work was done by dealear under ext warranty. This has been a highly reliable, like-new car that continues to amaze me with its power, options, comfort and speed. Love it!
