Why the 2004 BMW 7-Series?

Exterior styling

It is elegant, simple beautiful lines. It is not overly showy or ornate

Ride smoothness

It soaks up bumps and goes through major road undulations with great aplomb.

Powertrain performance

This is more of a luxury car but it has tremendous get up & go when you floor it. The engine makes a very good sounding rumble. The fat torque curve is obvious when accelerating from a stand still and passing on the hiway.

Safety & braking

The brakes are incredibly smooth and powerful.

Why Not the 2004 BMW 7-Series?

Interior styling

The dashboard definitely not the best laid-out in the class and others look much better.

Controls and instruments

It is very difficult to control all the features of the car through the i-drive which is very non-intuitive.

Depreciation

The depreciation curve is pretty steep for large vehicles like this unfortunately. I bought mine used so I benefitted from this.
