The 5 speed transmission is nicely suited to the power of the engine, car has good acceleration in any gear. Great accel when RPM over 2,500 and go to WOT.
Car does not understeer in even spirited driving. The SS handles transitions from left to right well and is nimble in traffic. Ride is pretty comfortable considering its capabilities.
In mixed driving I get 25 - 26 MPG, even with 75 mph stints and popping in and out of traffic. In pure highway, gets 28+ at 70+
The Pioneer system with subwoofer has sufficient bass for a factory system. The USB connection and driving iPod from the head unit is wonderful.
