Why Not the 2010 Chevrolet Cobalt?

Rear seat room & comfort

With only 2 doors, the rear seats are pretty much useless. Obviously, if you really have to, you can fit people back there, but no one will want to climb back there when everyone at work is going out to lunch.

Brand reputation & image

At the time Chevy was still "owned" by the US government. If a company is so bad with their finances that my tax money has to save them, then the car is going to have to be awesome for me to pay them more money for it.

Exterior styling

It looks like a Cobalt. The only exterior styling it has is the big wing in the back, which honestly looks out of place. It says "boring" all the way until the trunk lid where it says "exciting." It needs to make up its mind and be one of the other.

Handling

It handled like a typical FWD American car. It felt heavy and unbalanced. It had the typical FWD understeer, and felt no more exciting than my Corolla. I actually liked my old Corolla better than the Cobalt SS.
