A fuse holder in the Body Control Module fails intermittently. The service manual leads in two directions. Direction A leads you to replace the HVAC control module. Direction B leads you to replace the BCM.
I flipped a coin and took A, and didn't actually repair the problem.
I am extremely angry that a block of fuses is integrated into the BCM and that the holders for those fuses are inside the sealed off unit, requiring a complete replacement BCM ($250) and Tech2 programming to fix a faulty solder joint on the fuse holder.
150411 mi
US $34
Fuse holder in the body control module failed, taking out the AC.
To fix the fuse holder, you have to replace the entire BCM and have it programmed to marry with the car. HVAC Mode Actuator replaced.
