Heavy misfire under load/acceleration. Towed to dealer by GM. Dealer refused to look at it unless I paid $110 diagnostic fee despite it being a powertrain issue and having a powertrain warranty. Diagnosed the problem in 5 minutes as a broken spring in the ignition coil of cylinder# 1. Spring in cylinder #4 also strongly corroded. It's clear the seals are not keeping water out of the outboard spark plug holes. Dealer refused to sell the spring only, wanted to sell the entire coil. I refused. Found the boot and spring at Napa for $7. Put dielectric grease on all 4 springs. Fixed the major issue, but I still have infrequent/occasional misfires under load. Probably going to replace the coil next as my attempts to clean the dirt out of the contacts in the coil itself were not successful.

There was a coolant leak near the intersection of the 2 parts. $54.70 in parts from Amazon plus $16 in coolant and some other supplies. Changed them myself, it was pretty easy. Could never tell what exactly was causing the leak, probably one of the 2 o-rings.

Failure of vacuum regulator on cam cover, poor running, squealing from car, service engine soon light: Replace PCV Vent tube to turbo Replace Cam Cover - bad vacuum regulator (sucking air) PCV check valve in intake manifold missing. Upstream O2 sensor went bad. Dealer replaced it last summer (2021). I replaced it in April 2022 and now again in May 2022. I found oil in the connector, not sure if that was causing it. I'm filling this out in July and right this minute the car is at the dealer to figure out why it keeps burning up the O2 sensor. It has failed again. I'll update the next time around what they find and additional time/cost.
74000 mi The turbo went. Car was not making boost. Dealer said the cost was over $2000 including the rental vehicle. Covered under warranty. Three miles after leaving the dealer, check engine light came on. Oxygen sensor was fouled from turbo going. Dealer declined to say it was part of turbo malfunction! I had to pay for it.
