Why the 2010 Chevrolet Equinox?

Exterior styling

Best in class, much bolder and "tougher" looking than the RAV4/CRV, and not cheap looking like the Nissan Rogue or the "spacey" Hyundai Tucson.

Ride smoothness

The cabin is much quieter than the competition, and the suspension is firm, yet absorbs road imperfections without drama...meaning no body rattles or interior squeaks.

Quietness

You can carry on a conversation/talk on the phone at the same volume you would use inside your house. The least wind noise of any vehicle I have owned.

Why Not the 2010 Chevrolet Equinox?

Brand reputation & image

I never really liked (or disliked) the previous generation Equinox...and it took several test drives versus the competition, and many online owner reviews to convince me that the "new GM" really was new..

Dealer practices

Honestly, the Chevy dealer I went to was actually more professional and courteous than the Honda, Toyota, Nissan, Hyundai and Ford dealerships that I also visited. I also got incentives that were as good or better than the others were offering.
