Why the 2007 Chevrolet HHR?

Fuel economy

I am averaging 29.9 mpg driving 25 miles a day, 55% hwy-45% city. My previous car, a PT Cruise only reached 23.1 under the same conditions.

Powertrain performance

the car rides smoothly and shifts are hardly noticeable.

Cargo capacity

Folding down the back seats creates a cavernous amount of storage space. I like that the cargo floor is plastic-easy to clean. Under floor storage compartments are also nice.

Exterior styling

The car has a unique retro look, but it is not so extreme that it looks "clownish"-it is a style design that should wear well through the years.

Why Not the 2007 Chevrolet HHR?

Rear seat room & comfort

Not much room for tall people in the back.

Brand reputation & image

GM has had some bad press lately-but quality at GM has improved substantially over the past 5 years or so- and with a 5 year 60,000 power train warranty (I am at 29000 miles), I feel covered.
