Wouldn't start, Whiteman's performed :20 Multipoint Inspection, couldn't find any problems, could not duplicate starting issue. They did fix trunk that wouldn't open, said it was caused by "improper close" what ever that means...just stupid! Car wouldn't start for the second time, was flatbed-ed to Whiteman's Chevy, "scanned for fault codes in system, tested battery-battery tested good-checkedgroundwiring-allgrounds tight & clean-unable to verify won't start". They also performed a multipoint inspection(again). The car was there from 6-27-2022 to 7-1-2022 when I finally decided after a week to pick it up! The car still doesn't start the way it should, it turns over slowly until it finally starts, just annoying..don't know what to do next as the car seems unreliable, will it start the next time??? Who knows...sad...

Driver seat vertical motion gears were worn out so seat would not go up unless no one was sitting in it. This has been happening for a couple years when vehicle had around 20K miles on it. Vehicle is primarily driven by one person so seat was rarely moved. I told dealership that this was a manufacturer defect. Since the repair was made outside the warranty period, GM was willing to pay a portion of the bill and I paid $335 2 AC actuators in the dash were worn-out (a known problem with these vehicles, probably to supplier issues) and making a loud clicking noise anytime I turned the AC ON. Dealership diagnosed both as defective but replaced only one, saying the second one tested Ok during repairs. I picked up the car and the second actuator started clicking less than one mile from the dealership. It took another trip and a couple days at the dealership to get it replaced. GM covered repairs in full. 2 AC actuators in the dash were worn-out (a known problem with these vehicles, probably to supplier issues) and making a loud clicking noise anytime I turned the AC ON. Technically, the automobile was not at fault. The car refused to start because 9 wires had been chewed by an unidentified rodent. Included in this amount was time spent diagnosing the ABS/ traction control malfunction( sensor failure on left rear wheel) and the occasional malfunction of drivers side airbag( sensor). The air bag issue will definitely be repaired in the near future. The cruise control occasionally refuses to work and the car occasionally stalls immediately after starting and both of those issue will be addressed if and when they worsen. Diagnosis of ABS/ traction control failure, previously mentioned. A sensor located in the rear left wheel, included with or on bearing is faulty and will cost $370 to repair. May or may not be repaired. Intermittent driver side air bag malfunction diagnosed as a faulty sensor($320).
