Where did GM find such terrible materials? The leather - hard and grainy. The plastics - strange colors, and noticeably thin. Why does the door not make an assuring "thud" when shut like my Optima does? GM could have done a LOT better in this department.
After driving this car for a half hour, my back was in pain. How absolutely useless on a roadtrip.
Where is the steering feel and feedback? I felt EVERY bump. Have you ever driven a Mercury Grand Marquis? That is somewhat the steering feel of the Malibu. All over the place, and somewhat useless.
The salesman just felt sleazy. The dealership was somewhat dirty, and the sales manager was a jerk. I felt like there was lack of product literature.
