Replaced the intermediate steering shaft for the second time in two years. Not a fun job to do, especially from the underside of the vehicle. Everything is hard to see and get to, so I was working blind during parts of the the removal/replacement process. Part had lifetime warranty, so no cost to me.

The factory original wheel bearing hub assembly on driver's side was starting to get noisy and from past experience I could tell it was time to replace it. I probably waited too long to replace it because it must have gotten hot, heated up and welded itself in place. It was very hard to remove the old wheel bearing hub assembly, which took a majority of the time spent repairing the vehicle.

I purchased a new maintenance free Duracell battery at Sam's Club in July of 2017. I do not drive this vehicle during the bad winter weather months (December to March) in Michigan and store it in the pole barn. I connect a battery charger/maintainer to the battery during storage period and all was well until two months later when I noticed that the battery was no longer taking a charge. I thought my battery charger/maintainer may have been defective, so I tried another one with the same results. The battery was dead and would not take a charge. It had a 3 year free replacement warranty, so I took it back to Sam's Club last month and got a replacement. All is well again so far.

When the drivers side temperature control is moved to hot or cold a loud clattering noise comes from behind the control panel on drivers side. It stops after a couple minutes and will start up again if temperature is changed. I think the actual part name is called "Heating and AC Panel Mode Door Actuator or Temperature Mode Valve Actuator Assembly".
