I cannot remember exactly what the name of the part is, but it was a relay switch and a wire inside of it broke. My truck started going dead while I was driving but it usually started back up until it finally broke and I had it towed
142000 mi Truck was put on a computer two different times and both times the number five injector showed some kind of problems
142000 mi

US $367
Number 5 injector failed according to computer. I ordered the fuel injector assembly from Rock auto, I ordered the entire part that included all of the injectors and the regulator. The mechanic put it on my truck and put it all back together, but when he started it to see if it was going to run good he said it started pouring gas. After calling the Chevrolet dealership he found out that on the 2006 4.3 liter motor has no return line from the injector assembly regulator to the gas tank, on some but not all of 2006 trucks. Well I could not send it back because It had been installed and gas had run through it so he had to take the injectors out of the new assembly and put it in the new assembly and he said it was very had. The mechanic did get it done and it is running as good as new.
