This may throw it all off, but here goes. When I totaled the Subaru, Feb. of 2017, I decided to get the Tahoes' brakes fixed, as I would be using it more. The brakes were shuddering badly. The shade-tree guys who worked on them didn't make much difference. Some months later, the guys running an all- purpose car-care place made some adjustments, made it better for a while. Finally, I took it to specialists. All better now. |

Steering position sensor, bought on ebay $26, took the steering column apart, fixed in the driveway in under 40minutes. You would turn the wheel 20 degrees off center, it would "snap" to the right, kind of like if you hit a patch of ice, no resistance. |

Previous work involved replacing CV axle. ABS encoder on replaced axle rubs ball joint and ABS light is intermittent. ABS has activated below 5 MPH on a couple occasions. Shop said take back to other shop who did CV. Other shop did nothing. |
