Why the 2006 Chevrolet TrailBlazer?

Cargo capacity

The trailblazer provides ample interior room for a family with kids and large dogs. With a pet barrier in place, the rear cargo area has enough room for an 80+ pound dog to lay down.

Reliability & durability

A durable vehicle was an important factor in the purchase of this vehicle.

Feature availability

The automatic four wheel drive and traction control are almost essential features for one who lives in a region where it snows nine to ten months of the year. In this region, one cannot depend upon the municipality to clear the roads of snow and ice.

Price or payments

The Trailblazer was merely in the price range of what I was willing to pay for a used vehicle that I only intend to keep for a few years.

Why Not the 2006 Chevrolet TrailBlazer?

Interior styling

The interior lacks refinement. My previous vehicle, a Kia Sorento, was cheaper yet offered better styling and comfort. It appears that an old man from Tupperware designed this interior.

Controls and instruments

The Trailblazer LT has controls in odd locations. The cruise control could have been better located on the steering wheel. As well, the 4 x 4 selector is located too close to the rear wiper selector. As for the cup holders, they were an afterthought.
