Reviewed: 2002 Chevrolet TrailBlazer

4dr SUV 270-horsepower 4.2L I6 4-speed automatic 4WD w/low range

Why the 2002 Chevrolet TrailBlazer?

Powertrain performance

The inline 6 cylinder version that I have is quite powerful and still provides decent fuel economy for a larger SUV (around 18.5 with 75% highway driving at 60 mph).

Ride smoothness

VERY smooth with newly installed 255/75/R16 tires. Stock is 245/75/R16.

Front seat support & comfort

Leather interior and lots of depth in the padding provide comfort for 5+ hours long trips.

Driving position & visibility

Tall enough to see over most vehicles and no significant blind spots

Cargo capacity

I have hauled outdoor grills, flatscreen tvs and stands, 4 bmx bikes with 3 passengers (not using the roof rack), and 4 passengers on a vacation trip with all the luggage on the roof rack. Amazing!
