Elastic fastener securing outboard vinyl hinge shield at bottom of left 2nd row seat broke and would not reattach. Drilled hole through plastic retainer at end of elastic band that hooks shield to seat. Used small zip tie going through hole in plastic and into existing hole in metal seat frame to make a tight and secure connection. Simple and cheap repair.

Water leaking into interior backseat floorboard. Door seal replaced but did not stop leak. Carpet, pad, seats had to be removed to dry water and find leak. It was a hole corroded under cowling where the windshield meets the hood.

Chrysler offered no help at all on the engine cradle corrosion issue. Before the cradle degraded to a point where structural rigidity became compromised, I had a large steel patch fabricated and welded to the solid metal all around the corrosion area.

Engine Cradle is rusting. mechanic who repaired the EGR value noticed the issue. Chrysler hasn't recalled, they extended the warranty on other vehicles other than my "early build" 2004 Chry Pacifica.
