Since it is domestically produced minivan, I found the Caravan comparatively cheaper, as compared to imports (and even some domestics, such as GM and Ford.

Rear seat room & comfort

Enough room to sit a family of five (5), with bench seating in the far rear, and two captain chairs in the middle. Also, I can remove the middle seats and back bench for more cargo room with ease.

Cargo capacity

The middle seats and far rear bench are removable. Also, came stock/OEM with cargo rails on the roof, that are useful for the Sportrack/Thule cargo carriers. Have never tested the towing capacity since it does not have an auxiliary transmission cooler.

Front seat room

There is ample room in the front for two adults to sit comfortably during a short or long trip. Front seats are made of good quality and provide good support.

Reliability & durability

Dodge has had issues with its automatic transmissions. Also, do not have much experience owning a North American built mini-van.

Depreciation

Depreciation can be quite high since the car does not hold on to its value as well, as compared to it import competition (eg. Odyssey, Sienna, etc.).

Interior styling

Outdated and drab. Not much insight was used in the interior design of this vehicle.

Feature availability

As compared to its luxurious sister, the Town and Country, the Caravan offers basic features. Focus is more on transport than it is on comfort.
