Why the 2005 Dodge Neon?

Past personal experience

Of the two Neons I have owned, both are as dependible as a stone. I really like the looks inside and out compared to the Calibur. It is much better looking then the Calibur, and looks more aerodynamic.

Exterior styling

A much slimmer, more aerodynamic exterior. It is lower, has a lower front end which makes it look like it would get better gas mileage.

Interior styling

The interior is very comfortable and I like the way the dash is styled. It is more flowing and very well laid out. I like the access to the trunk thru the back seat.

Feature availability

It has 4 wheel anti-lock brakes, two front airbags, and automatic trans works better then any other automatic I have had in a very long time.

Safety & braking

The brakes are in all honesty, incredable. This is the fastest stopping car I have ever owned. The anti-lock works perfectly. The car is very strong. The 2003 Neon I used to own was rolled 5 times and the roof never caved in. It was as strong as can be.

Why Not the 2005 Dodge Neon?

Powertrain performance

Compared to my old Omni GLH Turbo it is low on power. Also, it feels anemic when compared to the 2003 with the manual trans. The manual trans made it feel a lot faster.

Price or payments

The price went up a lot from the 2003 and this 2005. And yet, there is NO difference at all in either car. They are carbon copies of each other. Why the huge jump in price???
