Powertrain performance

No need to put your foot down. This truck has so much power its like driving a rocket compared to my last truck. I really love this Hemi V8. So far I've had very good luck with this truck. I've put almost 20k miles on it.

Handling

More truck like handling smooth and responsive.

Quietness

Road noise is well managed but the engine isn't quiet either. Good sound while excelerating. When your cruising the MDS system kicks on and it's almost seamless.

Fuel economy

I use to own the v6 and I can honestly say that the Hemi get much better fuel mileage because its not trying to lug around the huge chassis and body. My V6 would avg about Mabye 13 MPG while my Hemi can get about 18 to 24 on good days sometimes even better.

Dealer practices

I'm not sure what happened at my dealer but they basically traded me trucks without switching or extending my loan. It was awesome how fast they took my truck back in exchange for this new one. Thank you Superior RAM in Conway AR.

Powertrain performance

The motor is awesome but the transmission shifts kind of hard.

Audio & nav systems

The Uconnect system glitches a lot but it still Works fine.

Tires

I don't like the nitrous fill not good for rock roads.

Depreciation

The resale value is low for a truck but considering dodge has good value you get a lot of bang for the buck.

Materials & workmanship

Cheap plastics don't inspire me at all and the 2012 Ram has lots of plastic. Even the aluminum and wood accents are plastic. The aluminum look on my dash is already starting to scratch and fade. My door has a place were I can place my phone and it has a crack. But it looks good.
