I had my truck for only 11 months. The motor was solid but the electronics were garbage as far as I'm concerned. |

After talking to a lot of owners of different trucks, Dodge owners seem to have far less major problems. |
| 2009 | 4dr Crew Cab 5.5ft bed 390-horsepower 5.7L V8 5-speed shiftable automatic 4WD, part-time w/low range |
Life time warranty. No problems yet with this one, but i have ran one over 200k. The truck treats you as good as you treat it. |
| 2008 | 4dr Crew Cab 6.5ft bed 345-horsepower 5.7L V8 5-speed automatic RWD |
So far so good. 18k or only towing... a little yes... but over brutal hills carrying crazy loads using lots of 5500 rpm engine braking. |
| 2004 | 2dr Regular Cab 6.5ft bed 235-horsepower 4.7L V8 5-speed automatic RWD |
Strong and trouble free for me. I flush and maintain my truck as I a mechanic. |

Now my family builds dodge so it hurts me to say this truck was a big disappointment. I had my truck for only 11 months. This truck was put in the shop so many time for the same things I was reluctant to even consider another Chrysler product. My ignition switch constantly stopped working in the cold months. My transmission had repair work twice (something about a pump) before being fully replaced with a brand new one. My doors made horrid squeaking while being opened or closed. The motor on the other hand was solid but the electronics were garbage as far as I'm concerned. |
