30685 mi Problem: Shutter when shifting the vehicle from reverse to drive. Fix: Driveshaft axle seal was leaking. Was disassembled and bushings inspected and axle stub shaft are good. Driveshaft front axle seal was replaced. Fluids were topped off and road tested; operates as designed.

35000 mi Had noted excessive drivetrain noise which resembled wind nosie coming from the rear of the vehicle. However, it could even be heard at low speeds over smooth pavement. Dealer diagnosed as a faulty rear differential, which was replaced under warranty.

Transmission was fluttering during shifting and was slow to shift into 2nd gear when cold. Initial diagnosis was bad solenoid or other transmission failure. Further investigation found the bad bushing ands seal in the front left half shaft. Ford replaced the parts and tranny fluid. the car is working normally now. 
63000 mi Transmission failure - car had to be towed to dealer. Replacement of transmission was covered under extended warranty. 
57800 mi Brought the car in after noticing the PTU was leaking. Turns out it was leaking from the vent, and the oil was dark with metal shavings, so they replaced the PTU. $1,200 cost if out of warranty, caught this just in time!
